BIT Milan. From February 4th to 6th, 2024

December 2023

The International Milan Travel Exhibition BIT focused on the new topics

From February 4th to 6th, 2024, the International Milan Travel Exhibition BIT will receive in attendance tour operators and travel addicts from all over the world.

BIT – now at its 44th edition – also this year has been studied in order to be carbon-neutral: the approximately 3,000 tonnes of estimated CO2 generated by the event will be entirely offset with a certified environmental project of a photovoltaic system in the Andhra Pradesh region in India, therefore also with a social value

The program includes more than 100 events, workshops, and conferences on the latest trends. Among the topics: food and wine tourism, slow tourism, cycle tourism, the rediscovery of villages …

The new topics of the 2024 edition of the International Tourism Exchange:
Artificial Intelligence – how will it affect travel? What role will GPT Chat play? A world and a revolution waiting to be discovered.
Sustainability/Overtourism – Sustainable travel is now a trend that combines the desire for travel with the new sensitivity of “slow” travel to reconnect with nature and become more in tune with local communities (*) Today it becomes even more of a topic of discussion considering the opposite phenomenon of over-tourism which is destroying places and communities
Bleisure – The new term “bleisure” which combines business travel with leisure is changing the way and reasons for travel, influencing both transport and supply

These will add value to the traditional areas of interest: Leisure, Luxury, MICE, Sport, Religious tourism, Wedding…

Where: Allianz MiCo in Milan
When: from Sunday 4 to Tuesday 6 February 2024
